Rule D Road drops you into Carnival as a band leader. One thumb steers you through Port of Spain. The rest is instinct: where the loose dancers are, which rival looks small enough to take, and when to run.
The round opens with revelers scattered across the city and eight band leaders hungry for them. Everyone starts small. Nobody stays small.
Sweep past free dancers and they join you. Your whole band recruits on contact, so the bigger you get, the faster you grow.
Brush a smaller band and their dancers pour into yours. Get caught by a bigger one and the road turns on you quick.
The clock decides the round. Final size and peak size both count, and both go on the worldwide boards.
Thousands of masqueraders in one round, running on real phones. We test on the cheap ones.
The map follows the real road grid of Port of Spain, Trinidad. Bands stay on the road, so knowing the streets is knowing the game.
Rival leaders hunt dancers, size you up, and run when they should. Nobody hands you the road.
Grab boosts off the road to move faster, pull harder, and swing a clash your way.
Interface designs from the current build. Gameplay footage is coming; everything below is work in progress.
