Short: It’s Carnival and the road belongs to the biggest band. Lead yours through the streets of Port of Spain, sweep dancers into your crew, and out-size every rival before the clock runs out.
Long: It’s Carnival, and eight band leaders are fighting for the streets. Each one is a classic Trinidad mas character, from Jab Jab to the Midnight Robber. Free revelers fill the city; roll past them and they join your band, colours and all. When two bands clash, size settles it: the bigger crew drains dancers straight out of the smaller one. But a huge band moves slow, so the road rewards the leader who picks their fights, grabs power-ups, and knows the streets. Thousands of masqueraders move on screen at once, on real phones. Rounds are short, the boards are worldwide, and the question never changes: who rules de road?
